Quantitative Surveys

Quantitative surveys are conducted with large numbers of participants to attain representative answers. Typically, quantitative surveys are conducted via questionnaires with closed questions and the data is then analysed to give statistically significant results.

Qualitative Interviews

Qualitative research in contrast strives to explore a specific object as deeply as possible. Therefore, the number of participants is smaller and interviews are less formally structured. Qualitative surveys typically involve open-ended questions, resulting in 'rich' data which requires more analysis and input by the researchers.
